The process of creating is as important to me as the end product. Almost everything I’ve been proud of producing is something which I have made, as much as possible, from start to finish. When I explored the dyeing process it became clear to me that my woven cloth could only incorporate yarn which I dyed. In fact, one piece used fiber which I dyed, spun and then wove. So, of course, purses I create must incorporate at least a sliver of my hand dyed, handwoven fabric!
